James Johnson III Memorial Fund

James Johnson III, junior at Purdue Polytechnic High School Englewood (PPHS), passed away suddenly Saturday evening. "Full of life, good friend, leader, entrepreneurial, socially conscious" are just a few adjectives that family, friends, and PPHS staff members use to describe James.

James was active in and out of school. He owned 317Fruitman, a business dedicated to providing underserved communities, food deserts, and city-wide events access to healthy produce. He played guard for the PPHS Techie varsity basketball team. James was college-bound and on a trajectory to attend Purdue University.
